Almost everyone has a digital camera in this day and age. It allows us to take a lot more pictures without worrying about wasting film. With so many pictures, the question arises of how to organize them. If you’re not fortunate enough to be a Mac user, you don’t have iPhoto to organize your photos. There is no need to fear, however, because Google has come to the rescue. It seems Google knows exactly which companies to buy. When you open Picasa, it sorts your images by date, no matter where the actual file is placed on your computer. It’s photo filing capabilities are excellent, but what really caught my eye is the new set of editing tools provided in the newest version. I saw my mom look at a picture of a dark ceiling with artwoork on it, and I called it a loss and told her to move it to the recycle bin. She pressed the “Auto Contrast” button and the picture immediately came to life. I’m sure the colors aren’t completely accurate, but it sure beats throwing out a memory. I highly recommend this program for those of you stuck on Windows. It is one of Google’s many applications that will make your computer using experience a little more enjoyable.
Speaking of photos, I’ve added a few albums each day to my gallery. Feel free to check it out.
Microsoft has released it’s long awaited Internet Explorer 7. It boasts new features such as increased security, tabbed browsing, RSS feeds, and few other bells and whistles. First, let me say it’s about time. Microsoft has been way behind on its features for its browser.
Am I recommending that people use this browser? Hell no! In less than 24 hours of its release, a security flaw has been found. So much for their increased security. I am still recommending that people use Mozilla Firefox. For Mac Users, check out Camino, a browser based on Mozilla. There are both standards compliant. You will run into pages once in a while that are written for Internet Explorer only, but these aren’t standards compliant and are normally taking advantage of Internet Explorer’s features that have the biggest security risks.

I’ve decided to place my gallery onto my own domain. You can see it here. I put up a few albums, including some more pictures from my trip to Europe, but keep an eye out. I will be adding new albums each day for a few days until my albums are up there and completed. I haven’t played with all the functionality yet, so I don’t know what users can do as far as rating photos or commenting. You might have to register to do that stuff. Have fun looking at the pictures.
Come, my friends! Let us shed pounds with the miracle elixir, Enviga! Yes, I am well aware that this drink sounds like some kind of sexual potion and that I am asking everyone, including guys, to drink it with me. Enviga is the drink produced by Coca-Cola that claims to burn calories. According to the Wall Street Journal article I read, three cans will burn between 60-100 calories. Once it’s out of testing, I’m all over this if it tastes anything like Coke. I bet if I drink a case of this a day, I will burn calories like crazy. On top of bouncing off the walls from caffeine jolts, I’ll be super skinny. Look out Mary-Kate!

I don’t want to bore you with a bunch of pictures of statues and monuments. It was quite difficult to figure out which pictures to post out of the 1000+ pictures I took. It would’ve been more, but the cruise was boring. I ended up watching lots of movies. Mission Impossible 3, X-Men 3, The Devil Wears Prada, Thank You for Smoking, Cars, Over the Hedge, Harry Potter, The Break Up, and Munich were on the list of movies during this trip. I definitely had to give you guys the food recap. Now for the rest of the show.

I’m sure some of you never realized I was gone. I still have to look through a lot of my pictures and notes to see what places I visited. A lot can be seen in two and a half weeks. Let me give the basic recap off the top of my head.
Road signs, lights, and lines on the road mean nothing in Italy.
Ask how much bread costs at meals. It might be $5.00 per person.
There is nothing wrong with eating two entrees and three desserts.
Monaco has lots of nice yachts and cars.
France is covered with dog shit.
The people in Barcelona speak Catalan, not Spanish. That is why they sound so gay.
It’s amazing how similar “Tapas Bar” and “Topless Bar” sound, and if you heard the second phrase instead of the first, the food is always disappointing no matter how good.
Barcelona has the most aggressive flies that won’t go away, even when you wave your hands around.
Modernist art exhibits should be preceeded by hits of acid.
Vacation is tiring.
