Memorial Day Weekend Recap
This weekend Michelle and I headed down to San Diego along with her sorority sisters. We went to check out Sea World and to check out The Gas Lamp Quarter. Sea World used to be an amazing place, filed with wonder and excitement. Now, questions pop up about how they train the animals, whether the animals’ tanks are large enough, or why people with children think other people will inconvenience themselves because of a choice they made to be parents. The place has lost its magic, but it was still fun to check out after twenty plus years.
Clyde and Seymour.
Feeding the dolphins. Touch them on the head, then drop a fish into his mouth.
Leaping out of the water.
Taking the stage for final applause.
Wake up, seals!
The girls, sharing a large drink.
We stayed up past 1:00 AM!
Penguins. Watch the one that tries to jump out of the water.
Shark Encounters.
They look like they’re smiling!

Michelle and I went back to my place on Sunday night for dinner. My parents had people over and Michelle was greeted with, “I remember you! You came to Europe with us!” Then she was greeted by “Uncle Joe” who came up to her and said, “Hi, Cindy!. He looked at me and said, “This is Cindy, right? The one we met last month?” He came up to me later and said, “I’m helping you out. See? She’s jealous now.” Michelle has even more insight as to why I am the way I am.
I love three day weekends. That means a four day work week is up ahead!
