Flowers in Summer Bloom
I got a pair of Ryukin Goldfish today for my outdoor fish barrel. When I got home to drop them in, I saw that my water lily has its first flower that has bloomed. This makes me happy. I’m not someone with a green thumb, but there’s something relaxing about being able to grow living things. Keeping fish and plants together is doubly satisfying.
In full bloom.
What’s interesting is that the flower closes as the sun goes away.
You can see one of the Ryukins on the bottom right.

Matt’s pride and joy. This is where your Shanghai-nese side really shows but very pretty flower nonetheless. =)
