I Want to Be Rich, Dammit!
There is no doubt that I am a very fortunate person when it comes to my socio-economic status. It is something I have not had to work for in the slightest, something that my parents worked hard to provide for me. That being said, I want more. I want to be filthy, stinking rich. Two out of three does not cut it.
Why do I want to be rich? This is not some way to prove to other people that I am successful. I already believe that I am successful, although it does not show itself in the form of money. I want to be rich, because while it does not buy happiness, it does afford more time to enjoy oneself and take on endeavors that make me happy. I’m not talking about not working and lying by the pool each day. I want to work, but needing to work for a paycheck takes away a lot of the creativity and enjoyment in a job.
Since my plan to live off of Michelle after she writes her Pulitzer winning article “Midgets: Funny or A Threat to Society” has not panned out, I am working on other ways to get rich. Currently, the money seems to be in creating a company that no normal person has heard of and get bought out by Google.
Once I have my wealth established, I will set up my own island community. You will all be invited so that you can have a nice vacation without worrying about the cost of it. Until that time, let’s all save up money by eating cheap. You don’t get rich by spending money, even if it is on really cool stuff like this.
