My dad asked to borrow a dollar so he could get a Diet Coke out of the vending machine. A minute later I saw him coming from the stock room with two six packs of Diet Coke saying, “It’s my machine anyway. This is easier, and the money ends up in my pocket.” The only problem with this is that he took a dollar from me. Somehow I lost a dollar in all of this.
Recently I have been scanning photos that my mom has picked out for my brother’s upcoming wedding. I noticed I am in a lot of the ones she selected. I think, deep down, even though it’s my brother’s wedding, my mom knows who is really important and wants people to know. This is one of my mom’s favorite pictures.

I added a plugin that should help the front page load faster. It shrinks down my long posts to a first paragraph and gives you a link to read more. This way all the posts with pictures won’t load on the front page. Just don’t forget to click to read the rest of the post. That’s where the good stuff is located. This plugin will also allow to me post material that is NSFW and give a warning to you before you open the post.
This Saturday we headed out to a party thrown by one of Desiree’s friends. It was up in Encino. After fighting traffic to get up to the party, we headed into the party in costume. Halloween is always a fun time to go out and see people’s creativity expressed.

Last night I went to another fashion show, this one held by Michelle’s cousin. The venue was Cabana Club in Hollywood. It was nice. We pulled up and walked right past the line and into the place. The open bar was limited to vodka an rum. Mango Parrot Bay and Coke tastes like lychee and pop rocks.

You register, upload some pictures, crop them a bit, and you have a personal avatar that you can take with you to any site that supports gravatars. Take a look at the comments, and then go get your own!
After much delay, we finally decided to go out for Fred’s birthday. Korean BBQ was on the agenda. Unfortunately, Fred has lost his wedding planner ways and neglected to make reservations. For an hour some of us went back to Mo’s place, one block away to start celebrating Fred’s birthday, without Fred.

It’s not over yet, but if Major League Baseball heads into a World Series with Colorado and Cleveland, no one is going to care. No one from the west coast is going to root for Colorado, and no one from the east coast is going to root for Cleveland.
In the NBA, the eastern conference has teams coming up as potential powerhouses, and Kobe is still complaining. No one cares.

While I don’t believe in true anonymity on the Internet, I do my best to hide certain things about myself in the online world. Some people think it’s ridiculous that I do this, but I have a story to show how the idea of remaining unidentified online is far fetched. I will also do my best to tell this story to hide anyone involved.
Back in college, there was this girl in one of my classes. The only thing I knew about her was her name was ______. I thought she was cute, but because of my work schedule, I was always late to class, sat in the back, and I left class early to get back to work, so there was little time for me to approach her. Well there was that and the fact that I am a coward.

This weekend was spent working to finish up the work I had to do while out of town. I put my nose to the grindstone and even avoided the temptation of playing LAN games. I’m still quite behind in my work unfortunately. Sunday I realized it was a losing battle, so I gave up hope and just took my time, not worrying about deadlines.
This Sunday was my mom’s aunt’s 80th birthday, so we had dinner at Hotel Casa Del Mar. Michelle was lucky enough to get to tag along for a nice dinner.
