I hate getting static shock. It has become somewhat of an obsession. This could even be considered borderline obsessive/compulsive. On days that feel dry, I will touch tap the tip of my key to my car door before grabbing the handle. If there is wood on a door, I will touch that before grabbing a metal handle. It’s pretty pathetic. Sometimes I just tell myself that it’s just a shock and I get over it. Well, now I won’t have to these things anymore. The people at Think Geek understand me. This will be on my gift list.
In my other browsing, Google says spam seems to be on a decline. While no figures are released, they say the spam attempts are down. This probably only goes for the Gmail domain, which has great filtering. Spammers probably went to work on domains that are more lax with spam, like hotmail.com and yahoo.com. When was the last time you got spam in your inbox on a Gmail account? Those of you not on Gmail should switch for that reason alone.

How many times have you thought to yourself, “I really want to sing, but I can hardly remember the lyrics to any song, and where am I going to find a karaoke bar open at 5:00 AM?” I know it’s a common thought for myself, and I’m sure it’s a concern that weighs on your minds constantly. Worry no more, my friends.

Well, I have thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend. I’ll do this in reverse.

I got this really high score in TextTwist. I was a little bit mad when I lost on a word that isn’t even English.

I’ve been inspired to redesign my fish tank. I have decided to set aside a little bit of time to make sure I clean up the look of my tanks. Why the sudden interest again? Practical Fishkeeping published the results to the annual aquascaping competition. These guys are the cool kids in the “It’s still fish keeping and therefore still kind of lame” world. I want to be like these guys, the king of the losers! See my initial tank transformation after the jump.

It’s good to be back home. Las Vegas is a city that never stops, and it has taken its toll on me. Despite the trip being just Michelle and me, we got quite a few pictures taken.

Off to Vegas. Be back drunk.
That sounds like I’m smuggling drugs into the country and laundering money. Not quite. I just hate taxes. Due to my inability to invest properly, and the fact that I live at home with my parents with very little personal costs, I need to get rid of some money. I want to donate some money to a charity. It helps out for a greater cause, and it keeps the money out the government’s hands. The only dilemma for myself is that there are so many great charities out there. I don’t know where to begin.
I started digging around the client directory of my brother’s company. He works for a company that develops web tools for non profit organizations. Some of them have more altruistic goals. Dean For America Campaign is one that will not be getting any money from me. American Red Cross seems to be the default donation spot for a lot of people.

Michelle’s birthday has come and gone. She is officially an adult. There is no better way to celebrate such an occasion than with good food, plenty of drinks, and bowling. Lots of pictures to follow after the break.

The last time I posted about this was about a month ago. There are even more this month. At this rate, I can look forward to seeing over thirty of these by this time next year. I guess Dell isn’t one of those earth friendly vendors. That’s okay, Dell. I wouldn’t be either if I were in your line of business. If you destroy the earth, people won’t be able to go outdoors to hike. They’ll be forced to stay home and sit at their computers, hopefully Dell computers.

Happy Birthday, Michelle!
