Time to Bring Back the Neighborhood Watch
Last night we all heard a loud thud. We assumed it was an animal, knocking over our trash again. When I left for work this morning, there was a brick on the trunk of my car. Some person threw a brick at my car in my driveway, probably trying to hit my rear window. There is a sizable dent on my trunk now. My car is merely a means of transportation to me, but this is low. I would guess this is some neighborhood kid with nothing better to do while he is on winter break. Reports have been filed but will probably amount to little. There are places in the United States, where you can leave your car running with the windows down, and your car would be safe. Unfortunately those places are fewer and fewer nowadays.
Such is life. Don’t sweat the petty things. Pet the sweaty things.

Remember couple thanksgiving ago, I had to rush back home due to vandalism? The police said other houses in the neighborhood got vandalized around the same time. The police know that it had to be some bored HS kids in the neighborhood. PV kids trying think they’re thugs….argh. I really believe in what comes around goes around.
So are you $500 in the hole? Deductible and then insurance pays for the rest?

I’m probably not going to fix it. It’s like my cracked windshield. I had a rock hit it over a year ago and it finally cracked across, but it went horizontally across the bottom near the windshield wipers. It’s hardly noticeable. I may try to fix some of these things if I sell the car, but most of the time I just donate my vehicles when it’s time to get a new one.

Oh btw, neighborhood watch doesn’t work…or maybe because we weren’t part of the neighborhood watch program. They always solicit “donations” and invite us to meetings…good thing I didn’t waste money or time…the neighborhood watch was proven useless in time of need.
I remember distinctly that night, I was on may way to your place, the neighbor directly across the street were outside doing something in their from yard with guests on parked on their driveways…and they saw nothing…they only remember when they saw ME leave the house…either they’re stalking me just stupid.

Don’t you know the Neighborhood Watch is like the Mafia? If you don’t join, they’re the ones who mess up your place.
“You should join up. I’d hate to see something happen to your mailbox.”
*You go out for the night.*
“I didn’t see anything.”
