This Saturday Ariane had her birthday celebration at The Edison. I am still recovering from my cold, so I refrained from drinking, unlike some other people who couldn’t make it out. Just like I thought, the night totally sucked being sober. Just kidding. It was cool getting out to see people after being couped up for a while. The birthday girl swears a lot when she’s drunk.

This Friday was Spencer’s birthday. He thought he was going to a show. Little did he know that when he came upstairs to get the tickets that Vivian forgot, we jumped out and surprised him. We had a sushi party with all the fixings.

Another weekend has passed, and tomorrow it’s back to the grindstone. I wasn’t smashed out of my head this weekend, so I remember it. Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of pictures to prove what went on, or what didn’t go on this weekend. I dropped my camera Friday night and it’s out of service. You’ll just have to take my work that there was no gay sex.
Friday was Julieann’s birthday, so Michelle, Alice, and I headed to Blue Velvet to hang out with a bunch of kids that graduated same year we did, but from high school and not college. It was fun to get out to a new place, but at one point Julieann and Christine started getting belligerent and directing their towards me and saying, “Stupid Randall! Who wants to be a doctor anyway?” Women…

Michelle’s birthday has come and gone. She is officially an adult. There is no better way to celebrate such an occasion than with good food, plenty of drinks, and bowling. Lots of pictures to follow after the break.

Happy Birthday, Michelle!
After much delay, we finally decided to go out for Fred’s birthday. Korean BBQ was on the agenda. Unfortunately, Fred has lost his wedding planner ways and neglected to make reservations. For an hour some of us went back to Mo’s place, one block away to start celebrating Fred’s birthday, without Fred.

This weekend was spent working to finish up the work I had to do while out of town. I put my nose to the grindstone and even avoided the temptation of playing LAN games. I’m still quite behind in my work unfortunately. Sunday I realized it was a losing battle, so I gave up hope and just took my time, not worrying about deadlines.
This Sunday was my mom’s aunt’s 80th birthday, so we had dinner at Hotel Casa Del Mar. Michelle was lucky enough to get to tag along for a nice dinner.

It was a hot Labor Day Weekend. No one can deny that it was miserably hot, but it was also jam packed full of fun. Let’s skip the chit chat and get right into it.
Friday after work, we went to The Edison in Downtown Los Angeles. I knew we were going, but I didn’t think about it, so I had no clothes to wear. A quick stop at Ross fixed that problem right up.

This weekend was Angie’s birthday, and she planned a trip up to Big Bear. I am not a camping person mostly because of my disdain for toilets that don’t flush. Being dirty and not changing my clothes for a weekend is okay with me though. I started the trip up with Alex, Stacy, and Tony. That’s almost all the white people I know outside of work. It was good times, but I was definitely glad to get back to a shower.
